Monterey Yacht & Country Club, previously named King Mountain Condo Association, is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Stuart, Florida.
Monterey Yacht & Country Club was laid out by a developer in 1970 in an overgrown field used as a horse corral! By 1973 all 510 condominiums, ten units in each of the 51 buildings, were sold. Monterey is an active 55 community.
Monterey Yacht & Country Club golf course is a nine-hole executive course that threads its way throughout the complex. It's a narrow, tricky course withe six ponds to further add to the difficulty.
The course plays to a 9-hole par of 28 and maximum 9-hole distance of 1,024 yards.
